Anamaria Marinca bio

Anamaria is a Romanian Actress. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. A native speaker of French, German and English. Her mother played the violin while her father was a professor of theater at one the most famous drama schools in Romania. The young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. She was crowned European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. She taught for 4 months in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress born on 01 April, 1978. She was born in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress from Romanian descent began her acting career in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for this role. Alongside her impressive performance in her maiden film the actress is also remembered for role in the Romanian art-film 4 Months 3 weeks and 2 Days which won her numerous awards, including the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. She played a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 saptamani si 2 zile (four months three weeks and 2 days) which was awarded an award of the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. She also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. She played Yasim Awar on BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca played the role of Yasim Anwar in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, and in on the Romanian Drama Boogie. Then, she played a major role in 2014's Fury where she played Irma who was the German mother of Emma.
